Workshops

I am excited to announce a new way to spend your summer… here at my studio in New Hampshire!

One of the best things about being a maker, furniture designer and artist is getting to share that passion with others. In that spirit, I have decided to open up my home and studio to all of you for a series of summer workshops.

It’s all about learning, experimentation, and community building in our new home studio. The summer here is beautiful, our forest and river peaceful. We are opening up spots to camp and a few bunk beds as well so you can all enjoy the rugged retreat like atmosphere that we are lucky to have year around. Swimming in the river, campfires and potluck meals (to me) are just as important as the techniques and ideas we will be exploring in the shop and classroom.

11/18 - TIG-02, Welding for Sculpture

290.00

1-Day Workshop. 10am - 5pm with 1 hr for Lunch

This is a continuation of Tig Welding for Sculoture-01, which you must take before the class or demonstrate previous experience with TIG welding.

The ability to fabricate multiple metals opens up whole new worlds for your artistic endeavors.  Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding is a versatile and precise way to attach many different metals. In this 7 hour class you will have time to practice what you have learned in TIG-01 as well as be introduced to some more advanced fabrication tricks.

Most of the time will be spent on hands on practice with a couple pre-cut exercises available to hone your skills.
